Synopsis: At 2:00 a.m., today, Tropical Depression “TINO” was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 150 kms East Northeast of Casiguran, Aurora (17.0°N, 123.5°E) with maximum winds of 55 kph near the center. It is forecast to move West Southwest at 11 kph.

Forecast: The Eastern section of Central Luzon will experience rains and gusty winds. The rest of Central and Northern Luzon will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thundertorms. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Northeast will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Northeast with slight to moderate seas except during thunderstorms.
