Adding Assets to the Storyline in Final Cut Pro X

These are one of the most useful things you need o know when using final cut. The image above allows us to add assets to the storyline with special preference.

This one allows you to ADD any clip OVER the main storyline. You can easily trigger this after selecting a clip just click Q.

This allows you to INSERT any clip IN the selected or main storyline. You can easily trigger this after selecting a clip just click W.

This allows you to APPEND any clip IN the selected or main storyline. You can easily trigger this after selecting a clip just click E.

This allows you to OVERWRITES any clip IN the selected or main storyline. You can easily trigger this after selecting a clip just click D.

All of this can be done for both video and audio, video only or audio only.

It is always nice to know better was to increase productivity. Hope this helps
